Located in Natta, Serengeti District, Mara Region, WASH Hub No. 3 is Maji Safi Group's third and largest WASH Hub at four acres and growing. This location is expected to make MSG a regional destination for learning about integrated agriculture, clean water access, WASH, agricultural training, and livelihood development.
Designed as a sustainable community resource, the WASH Hub strengthens public health, builds local capacity and entrepreneurship, and promotes long-term economic and climate resilience across surrounding villages and beyond.
WASH Hub No. 3 is located on a major road between the Serengeti, Bunda, and Butiama Districts and only 20 kilometers from the Ikoma gate on the western side of the Serengeti National Park.
Construction has started on WASH Hub No. 3 with progress projected for the second half of 2026.
Coming in 2026
A solar-powered borehole that serves the WASH Hub and the neighboring village. It is also used to fill MSG’s water delivery trucks to promote safe water across the district.Demonstration farm (fields and gardens) and latrines for visitors to learn from in terms of getting ideas and cost estimates that could work for their own homes.A general store where WASH and agricultural supplies can be purchased at fair market prices to encourage proper WASH behavior and improved farming techniques. An operation mechanization center where locals can access services, including tractors, sprayers, milling machines, etc.A commercial greenhouse farm for growing vegetables and mushrooms to serve lodges and camps inside the Serengeti National Park and across the Mara Region.A 6,000-square-foot multipurpose event and training space that hosts seminars, workshops, government meetings, and other knowledge-exchange activities.
